The difference between pickleball court and badminton court
The pickleball court is the same size as a badminton court, 44 feet long and 20 feet wide (about 13.4 meters long and 6.1 meters wide), and the height of the net is 36 inches (about 1 meter high). It can accommodate 2 to 4 people to practice pickleball. Any hard surface (such as concrete or asphalt) is sufficient for outdoor venues. Indoor venues need to consider factors such as different surface options, such as hardwood or rubber surfaces.

When setting up a temporary (or permanent) pickleball court, it is important to know the correct specifications shown in the diagram. Also, it is important to note that if you are setting up the pickleball court outdoors on an existing court surface that is oriented in a normal north-south direction, do not set up the pickleball court at a perpendicular angle to the court. If you do so, one of the players will be looking directly into the sun in the morning or evening, which can create a safety hazard.
